Skill India Program is an initiative taken up by the GOI to address the growing gap in the knowledge base of what is available versus the skill set that is critically required for learning and development.

This was taken up after identifying the need tocreate a world-class skill advancement program which is rapidly deployable across the nation, so that various segments and industry verticals can benefit from the same. The objective is to achieve enhanced productivity and provide guidance through appropriate skill development. Skill development will empower the upcoming generation in not only getting gainfully employed but also create an environment to support entrereneurship to help kick start their own ideas. Even for the delvelopment of the overall infrastructure of the nation it is important that we pay equal amount of attention to all the sectors from agriculture to mining to manufacturing and contribute to an all round development

CIDIF has aligned its resources with the above initiative to provide the training and support required to train and equip people with the right skill set to be able to get not only gainful employment , but also create employment opportunities for others by undertaking various entrepreneurship initiatives. This will bnto only be restricted to a certain geography, but with our association with various other foundations can be quickly replicated and deployed in other parts of the country as well.
